At this time, retanning, greasing, and dyeing operations are needed to make the crocodile skin absorb dyes and oils and "restore" its luster. And the cortex will become firm and soft. Dyeing and tanning techniques are equally important. Once they are not properly controlled, there will be defects such as uneven dyeing, water marks, and uneven gloss.
